Marge has a background in psychiatric nursing and earned her Masters and Doctorate degrees at Yale University. A primary motivator for pursuing graduate studies was a nagging sense that if she just knew more, she would understand the treatment rationale for the persistent focus on problems and fostering of dependence. She STILL doesn’t understand. Since deciding to change careers, she has discovered her life mission is to join others in bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet. She comes to the Grove because it makes the space for people to share their dreams in an environment where they are taken seriously and where there is an investment in helping each other make dreams come true. Yes, she has BIG dreams; one of which is to facilitate a tsunami of kindness which starts with a simple choice: when faced with the choice of being mean vs kind – choose to be kind. Marge currently facilitates Awakening the Dreamer: Changing the Dream symposiums, is committed to 4 Years.Go, and is enrolled in the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) Co-Active Leadership Program due to complete in December of this year (2011).
