I’ve been a journalist (either part-time or full-time) for the past 25 years, in print, radio and on-line. I focus on issues of the environment and crime and punishment (what I used to call criminal justice), as well as other things I propose or that are pitched to me.
I’m a bicycle advocate, and bike almost daily for work or pleasure.
I’m a volunteer with Inner City Outings, which takes local kids on all kinds of outdoor trips they couldn’t go on otherwise.
I love to sew, knit and crochet.
I love to hike in the mountains and swim in fresh, clear water.
I love my family (husband, son, daughter and son-in-law) and my friends.
I pledge to spend more time this year with friends, co-workers and co-creators, like at the Grove.
