Mike Morris

Mike is passionate about creating web software that solves fundamental problems using the simplest, most elegant designs possible. He uses open source software including Ruby, Ruby on Rails and jQuery, in addition to Microsoft .NET, to craft creative solutions. Mike is an expert in relational database technology as well as enterprise architecture and a strong advocate of cloud computing.

He is the founder and creator of RecDesk, a web based program and facility management solution for Parks & Recreation Departments, Churches and Non-Profits. RecDesk has customers in ten states and has seen steady growth over the past two years.

Mike is also the founder of Triplefy, a digital gifting and deals platform for small businesses. Triplefy allows locally owned, small businesses to offer deals and sell eGift cards directly from their own web sites. Businesses manage and control all aspects of the deals they offer and can create, activate, and pause deals on-demand. A core goal of Triplefy is to help businesses build relationships and customer loyalty, not drive-by traffic.

Mike is interested collaborating with members of The Grove and the larger community on both non-profit and commercial projects that “make a difference”.
